源口生态文化旅游区位于江永县境西南部，东邻广西富川县，南界广西恭城县，西接粗石江镇，北连桃川镇。境内崇山峻岭，群峰挺拔，山岗上覆盖着茂密的森林。谷母源、石道源、白沙源、俸源、大小溪流纵横交错，出凉亭坳，众水归一，谓之“源口”。境内风景秀丽，物产丰富，是一座“生态宝库”。源桃河蜿蜒曲折，河水清澈见底，逶迤穿过山峦和村寨；三源湖千山一碧，水绕青山山绕水,山浮绿水水浮山；燕子山天仙草原常年云雾缭绕宛如仙境，草原、云海与风车交相辉映，自成别样风景；秋季的香米稻田公园稻穗随风起伏，沉甸甸的挂着“永明好米、其香五里”的江永香米。源口生态文化旅游区人文底蕴丰富，是长沙下乡知青们魂牵梦绕的“第二故乡”。知青部落保留着知青下放“先锋队”的生产生活遗存，重现着火红的青春年华，传唱着曲折动人的知青故事。

Yuankou Ecological-Cultural Tourism Attraction is located in the southwest of Jiangyong County, near to the border of Fuchuan County, Guangxi province at the east, the border of Gongcheng County, Guangxi province at the south, and Cushijiang Town in Jiangyong at the west, and Taochuan Town in Jiangyong at the north. It is featured by steep mountains and lofty hills covered with dense forest. Gumu Water Source, Shidao Water Source, Baisha Water Source, Fengyuan Water Source, and small streams all meet and join together here, hence it's called “Yuankou" (confluence of water sources). With beautiful natural scenery and abundant natural resources, Yuankou is known as an "ecological treasury". The Yuantao River winding its way through the mountains and villages with twisting course and clear water. The Sanyuan Lake is surrounded by green mountains. The Tianxian Grassland of Yanzi Mountain is a fairyland with cloud and mist wreathed all the year round, where the grassland, the sea of clouds alternate with the windmill forming a unique scenery. In autumn, in the Fragrant Rice Field Park, you can see the drooping ears of fragrant Jiangyong rice ripple blown by wind, and the rice is famous for the saying that 'the exquisite smell of rice from Yongming suffuses over five miles'. With strong cultural background, it is the "second hometown" cherished by educated youth from Changsha who once worked there. The Educated Youth Tribe still remains the production and living sites of the "vanguard" of educated youth, which represents their passionate green years and touching stories.

源口生态文化旅游区是江永县扶灵瑶、清溪瑶、古调瑶的聚居地，传承着无数先辈留下来的瑶族文化。这里保存有《扶灵瑶统记》和《盘王书》等极为珍贵的瑶族历史典籍；瑶族建筑造型精致，独具特色，保留有首家大院、禅山大寺、文峰塔等省、市保护文物；瑶族民风淳朴热情，风情独特，传承有千人会、耍春牛、舞龙狮、赶庙会、打油茶等民族习俗。走进清溪村，穿梭于清溪瑶古街巷中，沿途那一栋栋的明清古民居让人目不暇接，就像走进一部厚重瑶族历史剧的现场。

Yuankou Ecological-Cultural Tourism Attraction is the settlement of Fuling Yao people, Qingxi Yao people and Gudiao Yao people in Jiangyong County, who have been carrying forward the Yao culture left by ancestors. Records of Fuling Yao People's Rule and Book of Pan King Pan and other extremely precious ancient codes and records of Yao people are preserved here. Architectures designed and built by the Yao people are exquisite and special, such as the First Yao Compound, the Chanshan Great Temple, the Wenfeng Pagoda and so on, and they are all provincial and municipal cultural relics. The Yao people are simple, honest and hospitable, and they have passed on traditional customs such as the gathering event with a thousand people, the spring cattle dance, the dragon-lion dance, temple fair visiting and Youcha making (a kind of tea). Walking through the ancient streets of Qingxi Yao village, tourists may find their eyes fully occupied by the countless architectures built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, just like walking to a historical drama telling the profound history of Yao people.
